One Curious Bird

More like one dumb bird I’d say but I guess you must take into consideration that it has a brain the size of a peanut. It started last Saturday on June 7, 2008 at around 10:30 AM, which is when I started hearing thumps coming from my basement window. I decided to go check  it out and it turned out to be a  fucking bird flying into the window repeatedly.

The thing that even surprised me more was that it didn’t fucking stop! It just stayed there trying to get in through that damn window by flying into it and banging his beak on it. I could have cared less but I guess I felt somewhat bad for it so I went outside and scared it away countless times, but this little dumb fucking bord just wouldn’t leave. I even taped a towel on the outside of the window because I thought maybe it was seeing  reflection of itself or something. After around 30 minutes, I started hearing thumping noises coming from my bedroom window, which is also downstairs and it turns out to be the same bird. But seriously, what the hell is it thinking?

It’s Tuesday June 10, 2008 and the bird is still thumping and banging on my window. I don’t know what to do because I don’t feel that it’s necessary to cover up all my windows with towels. Speaking of window, I decided to name the bird Window because it’s been at it for like four fucking days. Dumb-ass-bird is also a suitable name.

Yeah it’s because they can see their reflections. Quite funny that it still kept at it on other windows but I suppose they aren’t the most intelligent of creatures.

I remember a couple of years ago when we used to sit in the lounge before school in the mornings to have breakfast, we would be able to see a bird trying to get through the window of our other garage almost every day. I think it went away in the winter, and came back the next summer.

    Is that bird green?

  2. That isn’t rare around my place. We had a robin that perched by our tree and kept flying into our shed window. Then i would perch back up on the tree, and fly into the window. And so on. I like your story about it though.

  3. Yeah I am friends with the owner of this site and he showed me the bird. It is quite a hilarious thing to watch. Just a little yellow bird looking at you through the window and trying to get through it. Another strange concept is that my friend covered the window that it was hitting and it started to bash itself into another window. Birds must be a pretty dumb species.
